The Forest Floor Skirt
Medium - upcycled fiber with an upcycled cotton base
 
This design is part of the All Materials Come From The Earth Collection and was exhibited as part of the Deering Comtemporary Exhibition in 2024.
 
This sheath tea-length skirt has a drawstring paper bag waist with ties for an adjustable fit. The entire skirt is covered in hand-made patches of hand-collaged scrap fabrics creating ornate interesting textures on the front and back.The Forest Floor Skirt was inspired by the layered plants on the ground at the Deering Estate.
