Hand pieced, appliqued, beaded, dyed, and embroidered, and sewn fiber art wall hanging depicting a compost pile by Pangea Kali Virga. Made in Miami at the Pangea Kali Virga Little River and Oolite Arts studio.
 
"Behold this compost! behold it well!"  was made using upcycled materials using zero-waste practices including interior design swatches from local design firms, netted fruit packaging from the supermarket, scraps from previous projects, hand-dyed second-hand clothing donated by the community, and vintage threads from a friend's grandmother. Natural dyes used for the piece were grown in Pangea's yard including turmeric and butterfly pea.
