Disco Grid (Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough) is best viewed with flash from your phone or camera! Direct light makes the piece shine and glow in a vibrant rainbow of colors. This installation, composed of hand-ruffled iridescent upcycled scrap fabric, upcycled disco balls, and safety pins was exhibited at SuperBlue Miami, the interactive art museum in Alapattah. The installation served as a spot for people to take a seat and enjoy the films in this disco-themed living room for the Chroma Art Film Festival. Disco Grid upon deinstallation was partially deconstructed to become one of a kind clothing for the Miami based Adele Myers Dance collective, a dining room table set, and a smaller version of the piece with two panels.
