Skin Collection Mention and Review
Procured Design wrote a review of the West 18th St. Fashion Show Runway which included a really positive review of my collection.
"The collections by Rachel Anne Gottlieb and Maria Mincher of Piola Jewel were likewise as evocative, yet with an entirely different set of associations. Comprised of interesting folds, textures, and an overarching nude tone, the looks are noticeably organic—recalling handmade paper or wrinkled skin. What struck me about this collection in particular was that it could be taken in many ways. Without a doubt, it retains the capacity to be read as a slightly macabre series of flowing dresses, yet each piece is undeniably elegant."
